01-05:
Went down to AMK to look for Mr Toh after I went to Mommy’s place, then we took bus to Tampines & met up with WS, HM & KQ. Took train to Tanah merah to meet XM.
We were going to the airport to send off 小姨. Wanted to eat Fish & Co but they were closed already. So we had Swensens, who were very smart to open so late because there was a looooong queue.
During dinner, we were asking what zodiac each other was, WS replied by doing a vomitting expression. I didn’t get him at all, then he said is rabbit cos “兔” = vomit (sounds the same).
LOL till I almost peng san. T_T

Then Mr Toh called for bill, after signing the bill, he kept holding on to the pen, until the waitress had to ask him twice for the pen. Lol!! His reason was he forgot he was holding the pen, but we secretly think he wants to keep the pen. LOL!!

02-05-11 morning
I woke up early to iron shirt for Mr Toh as I forgot to iron the day before. When he was preparing to go out, I was using his pillow to create a “fortress” to shield my eyes from the morning sun. And his pillow was very soft so I said “你的枕头没有用，很软.”
He said “你没有搓一下?” I was still half asleep, so I asked why, he said “搓一下就硬了。” T_T
I told him, “Mr Toh, you suck at telling joke.” LOL!!
After kissing me goodbye, he left for work and I slept like a log after that~

ELECTIONS
It was my 1st time voting! So exciting! I’m glad that I finally changed my IC add last year, if not, I’d have to go all the way back to Woodands to vote! *faints* Mr Toh said if that happens, I’m on my own. *bleah*

All issues aside, I am very grateful and proud that I have a chance to vote at 26 years of age when I see someone voting for the 1st time when they’re already in their 50s…our polling station was at the void deck of the block right beside Dad’s house. The queue was a little long but overall, we didn’t have to wait very long. I had made my decision weeks ago and I didn’t waste any time, so I was out of the voting booth in less than a minute’s time. =)

I was very happy with the Aljunied and Hougang wins by the WP. But at the same time, I was also very disappointed that Potong Pasir fell. The stronghold of the Opposition, gone. A 27 year legacy, gone.

To the people that voted for PAP, regardless of what area you’re living in…remember this, you have voted for them to retain a majority of the seats, so from this day on, we do not wish to hear any of your complaints and whining. Take it to your elected MP instead. Don’t bother the rest of us.

After voting, we met KQ at Serangoon Nex, we were gonna catch a movie. Fast 5! We had booked each other for this movie weeks ago. Heheh.

The movie was awesome and funny too! Based on the ending, I can’t wait for Part 6!

10-05-11 – Mr Toh’s birthday!!
I ordered a durian cake from 717 Trading after seeing good reviews about their durian products on a forum.
After work, I asked Mr Toh what he wanted to eat, pizza or KFC. He chose KFC so I ordered KFC for dinner. After dinner, I was thinking when to get the cake out to surprise Mr Toh, when he said he wanted to watch movie. So we watched Underworld: Rise of the Lycans on the computer together.
After the movie ended, it was nearing 12 already! I was so kan chiong! Faster took the cake out and while I was lighting the candle in the living room, Mr Toh walked out of the bedroom!! Huh! My heart almost stopped! Haha. I sang him his birthday song and we had a slice each. The cake was good!! Filled with real durian pulp! Although the cream was too thick, but it was really good! Yummy!!

Mr Toh commented that he didn’t know what the cake was supposed to be, cause it was just a dome of cream. I thought it looked cute~

13/05/11 – Friday
Met Mr Toh and Andrew at Tampines after work and we caught Priest together.

The show was quite disappointing, because we expected more. The lead actor’s very handsome though.

It was a quiet day for me. I went to the library, went home to rest then went to daddy’s house.

15/5 – Sunday
I met Chris at PS for high tea at Tea Cosy! We had been planning it for almost a week~ The food was pretty good. I love the atmosphere there too~
After that, I headed to Dad’s house to celebrate Xiangming’s 21st bday.

16/05 – Monday
I was on my way to work, when I crossed the road and suddenly felt very lightheaded. Took 1 more step and my body swayed to the right. I hastily reached out to grab the traffic light pole to steady myself. After taking a few breaths, I felt a little better… But that scared the hell out of me… 😥 But there was no repeat of that incident *choy* so I guess everything’s fine now.

I was sick for the week (23 May – 27 May), it started with a sore throat and became a cough with a little flu like symptoms, damn sian. Didn’t dare to go over to Dad’s place for fear of passing it to Hong Yi.

27/05 – Friday
I took half day off work to go for my dental consultation~ It was time for the extraction of my teeth. I had initially thought I’d only need to extract 4 molars, but Dr Djeng told me a bad news. I need to remove all 4 wisdom teeth too!! The upper 2 is fully grown and the lower 2 is impacted, which means they’ll require surgery. I wanna opt for GA, but the cost quoted by the doctor at Dr Djeng’s clinic was exorbitant!! Total cost was around $5k plus for the 8 teeth. T_T~~
I joked with Mr Toh that if I did the full set there, total cost for my teeth would be around $10k plus, I’ll buy insurance for my teeth!! If I fell and chipped my tooth, I’ll claim them for $$! Lol… But of course I won’t be extracting my teeth there, it is waaayy tooooo expensive. So I went to the polyclinic and got a referral letter to KTPH, where I read on the forum that Dr Sylvia Tay is very skilful~ Hopefully, it won’t hurt that much… Wish me luck!!

28/05 – Saturday
We caught Kung Fu Panda on Saturday @ Nex. I met Mr Toh at his workplace and we had dinner together before going over to Nex. When we reached there, Mr Toh suddenly felt like eating something, so we went to Cartel for the 50% off their coffee, cakes and ice cream! Mr Toh had a banana split which I kept calling ice cream split. I don’t know why! Lol. I had wanted to order a brownie cheesecake but that was sold out. T_T Boohoo~

It was good!! Really funny and touching at some parts, I did tear at the part when his mom put him at a safe place and ran out to sacrifice herself so her son can live. T_T~
