Tried Aston’s grilled salmon. They asked if I wanted it done medium or medium well, I asked for medium but I think it’s overcooked… Sauce was quite tasteless too. Oh well.

Met Mr Toh at Nex on Friday for dinner~

Had an awesome dinner at Ichiban boshi. Love that place. Fast becoming our 2nd favourite Jap restaurant!

My salmon set. YUMMEH. Everything was nice here & I mean it!

Salmon~~ I think this was in miso sauce. I like the sauce. Very appetising. xD But cause I switched off the flame too late, the salmon was a tad overcooked.

Chawanmushi!! Their chawanmushi is very nice here! Very smooth and flavourful and not too salty. Super nice. Mr Toh doesn’t eat chawanmushi usually but he liked this. Drooling just thinking about this. =(

We bought movie tickets for 2 shows!

First up, Oz the Great and Powerful!

Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz. At first he thinks he’s hit the jackpot-fame and fortune are his for the taking. That all changes, however, when he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz), and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity-and even a bit of wizardry-Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well. Written by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

Hmmmmmm. I love Wizard of Oz but I think the movie was ok only. Almost fell asleep at some parts. =X I love the cast though. Can catch if there’s nothing else. =X

Our 2nd movie was Jack the Giant Slayer, immediately after Oz.

The ancient war between humans and a race of giants is reignited when Jack, a young farmhand fighting for a kingdom and the love of a princess, opens a gateway between the two worlds.

Have I mentioned how much I love movies based on storybooks? xD This movie was an awesome take on the book. I really liked the princess, played by Eleanor Tomlinson. She’s so pretty. *dreamy*

I really liked Ewan McGregor’s character too! And he did a great job. I didn’t recognize him at first though he seemed familiar. I just thought his accent sounded very familiar too. Lol. =X

It was a really great movie, very exciting and worth the $!

Met Christina on Monday evening to catch up and she passed me instant noodles she bought from Taiwan~ I remembered the wrong brand…Yi Du Zhan 一度站 is supposed to be nicer. =X

Man Han Da Can 满汉大餐 from Chris~ We had it for supper on Tues. xD

Blogging this down so I will remember.

This is the nicer instant noodles from Taiwan!

Took a day leave on Tuesday to accompany Mummy for her checkup. Then headed to Balestier to collect the remaining lights and rushed back to Punggol so the uncle can fix it up for us.

Our house is nearing completion. Electrical works have been completed, now we are waiting for the furniture to arrive + toilet doors to be fixed. Been hard on Mr Toh this past few weeks who has to be there for the contractors / delivery men.

Not really looking forward to packing though. So much work. =X But at the same time, can’t wait to move it too. Such a dilemma. T_T

But we are very thankful to have met very nice people so far.. The electrician uncle especially, he is a friend of his uncle so he helped us for our home, if not, he usually doesn’t take jobs for new homes. =D

He also charged us really cheaply even though he did a lot of work. Imagine fixing all the lights in our home, water heaters and fans. He even drove Mr Toh to Balestier to exchange a faulty light. Then he also sent Mr Toh to Hougang Interchange yesterday to meet me.

While on the way there, they were listening to the 4D results and he struck 4D! Said our job gave him luck and even thanked Mr Toh. LOL. Such a nice uncle. Where to find you say?
